The municipality of Aigües, for its privileged position facing the Mediterranean and next to the Sierra del Cabeçó d'Or, and its geographical location less than 30 kilometers from the capital of Alicante, has had a great tourist vocation, dating back several centuries, being visited by many visitors both domestic and foreign, as well as many artists, attracted by its high landscape and environmental value and at the same time for having managed to maintain its rural and artisan character.

In order to know all its natural and traditional values, we propose a guided route through the town and its emblematic Pinada, to know the main landscape and architectural references, a subsequent gastronomic experience with flavors of the land, and all this complemented with a practical photography workshop.

Meeting point: Plaza de la Iglesia, located in the center of the village of Aigües (it is recommended to park in the esplanade next to the Cultural Center and access the square through the passageway of the Town Hall which is right next to the park).

From the Plaza we will head to the picturesque Barrio de la Torre, where in addition to enjoying its original colorful houses and stunning views of the Mediterranean, we will carry out the practical photography workshop by the hand of the renowned professional photographer Rosa Ripoll, who will teach participants about different photography techniques and tricks for attendees to take the best pictures at different stopping points.

Back at the Plaza, we will regain strength by enjoying a gastronomic experience at the Bar-Restaurant La Bacorera, with the renowned Alicante chef Manolo Morant at the helm of the stoves, who will delight us with a lunch with local products. Also, participants will be given as a souvenir a tasting tray of different sausages handmade by José Iborra in his butcher shop, also located in the same square of the village and with more than 80 years of tradition.

Finally we will move with the vehicles to the famous Pinada of the municipality, where we will make a nature trail of approximately 1 hour, in which we will visit and photograph its most emblematic historical and scenic places, highlighting the Gran Balneario, dating from the nineteenth century, and that came to host numerous nobles and members of the Royal Family, the long paths full of stone benches full of history, dotted with aromatic plants as well as different viewpoints on which you can see the Mediterranean Sea and the coast of Alicante, after which we will end the experience.
