Miel Montgó focuses its main activity on the production of 100% natural honey through artisanal and environmentally sustainable methods.

Thanks to this activity, it manages to focus its efforts on the conservation of the biodiversity of the area with its honey plantations from where the Apis mellifera bee obtains its precious pollen, as well as the surroundings of Montgó, an area with a rich ecosystem, with more than 50 endemic species, without forgetting that it is the mountain with the most biodiversity in Europe.

In addition to its main activity, Miel Montgó promotes other services in order to maximize the use of plantation and bees, to promote even more if possible the benefits for the hive itself and the native plantation.

Miel Montgó sees beekeeping as a useful means of expressing its passion for the environment and it does so by giving the deserved importance to the care of the bee. As well as transferring this idea to a public with the intention of creating social awareness, emphasizing the benefits that this activity has for biodiversity.

It does so by showing a real image from within the world of beekeeping and reaching out to more and more of us who support this practice and enjoy this world by doing our bit, because its goal is to make the biodiversity of the surrounding ecosystem survive and of course the life of the bees that is so important.

With this activity we manage to introduce the public to the world of beekeeping, we take advantage of the environment that surrounds us to introduce the exciting world of bees to our customers.

Enjoy a pleasant walk surrounded by nature, learning about the botany of Montgó, the relevance of history in the landscape and beekeeping activities and meeting our bees up close, offering at the end of the walk a delicious honey tasting.

Thanks to this, we managed to transmit our values and messages to the public so that every day more and more people share our passion and are aware of the importance of the bee for biodiversity.
